The EndogenX, Inc. management team’s experience is extensive and ranges from pharmaceutical, manufacturing and pharmaceutical research including, co-formulations, cell therapy, immunosuppressant, and vascular science, to marketing, business development, finance, project management and information technology. However, as EndogenX, Inc. grows and additional demands are place upon certain positions within the Company, the management team will continue to evolve and enhance its members to meet the challenge of an ever-changing marketplace. This of course will be predicated on fiscally responsible decision making on the part of the management team and board of directors.

Joseph V. Dunn is the Chief Executive Officer of Endogenx. Mr. Dunn has nearly 30 years of senior executive management experience, both in private and publicly traded companies. Mr. Dunn has been the founder, co-founder of several public and privately held organizations, and has served as Chairman, CEO and President, has directed successful restructuring and market turnaround of bio-pharmacology and technology firms with experience in evaluating cutting-edge medical applications, accessing their market potential, strategic partnerships, corporate alliances, and shareholder value.

Anil Gulati, MD, PhD is the Chief Scientific Officer of Endogenx. Dr. Gulati is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Associate Dean for Research at Midwestern University. He is also a Fulbright Scholar, a program operated by the U.S. Department of State and organized by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES). Dr. Gulati has developed numerous scientific patents and inventions, and founded two companies which are targeted to be acquired by Endogenx. Dr. Gulati has executed licensing and partnership agreements for his technologies with pharmaceutical companies worldwide. As a physician, pharmacologist, academic professor, biotechnology inventor, and widely-published researcher, Dr. Gulati brings his broad medical research and scientific experience to develop a unique approach for creating specialty pharmaceuticals, therapeutics, and diagnostic products.

Robert H. Donehew is the Chief Financial Officer of Endogenx. Mr. Donehew is the General Partner of the Donehew Fund Limited Partnership who is the lead investor in Endogenx. He has over 35 years of financial experience and in 1996 started his own private investment firm of the Donehew Fund Limited Partnership specializing in the securities markets. Mr. Donehew is the CEO of 3-D Capital, LLC an investment firm specializing in due-diligence, mergers and acquisitions and President and CFO of Golfrounds.com, Inc. a bulletin board company. Mr. Donehew gained valuable years of financial SEC reporting and tax experience while serving as the President and CFO and member of the Board of Directors of several public and private companies.

Leonard Makowka, MD, PhD is the Chief Strategic Officer of Endogenx. A distinguished clinical surgeon, transplantation specialist and medical researcher, Dr. Makowka is recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities in hepatic science. With nineteen years of experience, Dr. Makowka has emerged as one of America’s most eminent liver experts, known for his prolific and influential scientific research in organ regeneration and transplantation, and a recognized leader in hepatobiliary and transplant surgery. Dr. Makowka has received numerous honors and distinctions, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery (Board Certified in General Surgery) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and serves on the Board of Directors for numerous companies and organizations. Dr. Makowka has authored or co-authored more than 350 medical journal articles, and served as principal investigator and co-investigator, he has been awarded more than $9 million in transplantation research grants by prominent pharmaceutical companies and public health organizations, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
